About
Built to deliver. Relentless in execution. Driven by excellence.
Firestone Solutions is a modernization-focused consulting firm serving federal agencies, government contractors, and commercial organizations through cybersecurity governance, acquisition alignment, operational strategy, and disciplined program execution.
Who we are
Conviction, not convention.
Every consulting firm says they're different. We'd rather show it. Firestone was built by practitioners who spent their careers inside federal and commercial consulting industries and watched too many programs stall, too many contracts underperform, and too many clients accept mediocrity as the cost of doing business.
We decided that wasn't good enough. Not for the missions we support. Not for the organizations we serve. And not for the standard we hold ourselves to.
That conviction shaped everything about how we work. We hire operators, not observers. We integrate cybersecurity, acquisition, and program execution because they don’t work in isolation. We measure success by outcomes, not activity. And we stay accountable long after the contract is awarded.
We refuse to operate any other way.
Mission Statement
Firestone Solutions exists to set the new standard for secure, cradle-to-grave modernization that advances mission outcomes for the public and private sectors. We help organizations optimize operations with clarity, precision, and efficiency by bringing seasoned talent, uncompromising integrity, and a relentless commitment to outcomes that stand above the status quo.
Vision Statement
To become the transformational lifecycle partner federal agencies, contractors, and commercial organizations turn to first - known for elevating performance, strengthening security, and proving that excellence is not an aspiration but a standard.
Leadership
Practitioners who lead from the work.
Firestone is led by operators who have spent careers inside the federal and commercial consulting industry - not advisors who studied it from the outside.
Monica Chinisaz
Founder & Managing Partner
Monica didn’t start Firestone Solutions because she wanted to build a consulting firm. She started it because she spent fifteen years in federal consulting and saw the same problems repeat at every agency, on every program. Modernization initiatives that stalled. Acquisition strategies that fell apart after award. Program offices buried under reporting that created volume without visibility. She knew the work could be done better. Not incrementally. Fundamentally.
Before founding Firestone, Monica supported USAID, the Department of Defense, NRC, USCG, FDIC, CBP, FDA, and the Department of Education, delivering cybersecurity governance, IT modernization, acquisition lifecycle support, and program execution in environments where failure was not an option. She has managed cybersecurity portfolios exceeding $30 million, led strategic acquisition consulting for contract portfolios exceeding $1 billion, and driven organizational change across enterprise-wide technology deployments.
Monica holds an MBA from American University and is certified as a PMP, PMI-ACP, CISM, CSM, and PMI-CPMAI. She maintains an active Secret clearance and is a CMMC Certified Professional (CCP).
She founded Firestone on one conviction: organizations serving the public and driving the economy deserve consultants that are accountable to mission outcomes, rather than utilization rates or billable hours.
Christopher Petty
Principal, Commercial
Christopher Petty didn't come to consulting from a consulting firm. He came to it from the operator's chair - as a founder, a CEO, and a president who spent two decades building, scaling, and turning around organizations. He has carried full P&L responsibility and led the kind of organizational change most consultants only observe. That operator's instinct, and belief in execution over theory, is how he approaches every engagement.
Christopher has led organizations through expansion, restructuring, acquisition, and crisis, directing operations responsible for tens of millions in revenue and workforces numbering in the hundreds. He has closed acquisitions, stood up multinational supply chains under pressure, and navigated complex regulatory environments at home and abroad.
His track record is one of measurable results: improved profitability, operating cost reduced against industry benchmarks, and growth driven in competitive markets. His expertise spans strategic planning, operational optimization, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and the leadership development that sustains results after the engagement ends. He advises C-level leaders not from a framework, but from having sat in their seat.
Christopher joined Firestone because he shares its core conviction: that organizations deserve consulting built on execution discipline, not billable hours. He has seen too many engagements produce reports instead of results. He operates the other way; close to the work, accountable to the outcome, and direct about what it will actually take.
What we stand for
Values without action are just words.
Six commitments organized around the three principles that define how Firestone shows up for our clients, our team, and the missions we support.
Clarity.
Conviction Over Convention
We say what we mean, recommend what we'd actually do, and challenge assumptions when they need challenging. Clients hire us for honest insight, not validation.
Precision.
Accountable to Outcomes
We measure success by what changes, not what we delivered. Reports, models, and roadmaps are means to an end - and the end is sustained, measurable improvement.
Resilience.
Security at the Core
Cybersecurity governance is embedded in everything we do. We protect systems, data, and missions with the rigor required in today's threat environment.
Clarity.
Modernize With Purpose
Technology and operational change are only valuable when they improve how people work and what organizations achieve. We modernize what serves the mission, not what simply looks new.
Precision.
Operators, Not Observers
Firestone is staffed by practitioners who have lived inside the work. We bring scar tissue, not slide templates. Every engagement is led by someone who has done the job before.
Resilience.
Continuous Improvement
We never settle. We refine, optimize, and evolve - because excellence isn't a milestone, it's a discipline.
Our Commitment
One promise across every engagement.
The work changes. The discipline doesn't. Every domain operates under the same three principles that define how Firestone shows up.
Clarity.
Mission-first assessment, modernization roadmaps, and governance structures that turn complexity into aligned decisions and executable plans.
Precision.
Disciplined program execution, data-based decisions, and acquisition rigor - translating requirements into measurable performance and delivery confidence.
Resilience.
Security-by-design, operational risk management, and continuity planning — strengthening organizations to adapt and sustain readiness over time.
Ready when you are
Real, meet Real.
No theater. No filler. Just people who've done the work, sitting across the table from leaders accountable for getting it done. Federal or commercial, the discipline doesn't change.
30-minute call. No obligation.
